Concluding 107 Round of "Be Ready to Start Working" Training
On Thursday, February 28, 2019, the Career and Alumni Affairs Unit at An-Najah University concluded 107 round of "Be Ready to Start Working" training. The workshop was facilitated by PalDeal, Ooredoo and Rawabi.
The round was launched on Tuesday February 19, 2019 and included 30 students and alumni of An-Najah University.
The training aimed to foster students' self-esteem and the prepare them to get involved in the labor market.
The training focused on CV writing, preparing for job interviews, time management skills, communication skills, startups and the importance of volunteering and training.
The training hosted a number of prominent businessmen and leaders in Palestine to talk about their success stories and share experiences with the students as well as offer them pieces of advice on how to create their own startups.
They also explained the difficulties that faced each one of them during and after their study years.
The students were also introduced to how to promote themselves, how to keep a job and the importance of volunteering in shaping soft skills and ensure a job opportunity.
