An-Najah Innovation Park, in collaboration with the Career and Alumni Unit at An-Najah National University and Mercy Corps, successfully concluded the Youth Leadership Development and Life Skills Program, which took place as part of the Positive Youth Engagement (PYE) initiative. The program, known as the Learning Camp, was held at An-Najah Innovation Park from September 8-12, 2024.
The five-session training program aimed at equipping young participants with essential skills to thrive in today’s dynamic environment. Key topics covered included time and stress management, problem-solving, confidence building, goal setting, teamwork enhancement, and community engagement.
At the closing ceremony, participants were awarded certificates of completion by Mercy Corps representatives. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Imad Breik, Director of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO); Ms. Fidaa Bushkar, Project Coordinator at An-Najah Innovation Park; and Mr. Alaa Abu Dhair, Career Unit Coordinator at An-Najah National University.
The Youth Leadership Development and Life Skills Program is part of a broader effort implemented by the International Youth Foundation (IYF), a key partner in the PYE program. The initiative is active across more than 11 private universities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, fostering youth engagement and empowerment.
