" From the day I arrived until my last day in Nablus, and Palestine as a whole, I felt so warm and welcome by everyone

The community at An-Najah and the wider Palestinian community off-campus provided such a comfortable environment to learn not only the language but also to educate oneself about the lived experiences and cultural background of this fascinating land and its people. I had such an easy time finding friends which made the year abroad an even more exceptional experience.

Exploring Nablus as well as other Palestinian cities, such as Khalil, Jericho or Bethlehem, made me grasp the depth and variety of the Palestinian cultural and natural landscape and has left me yearning for more. Although, this has been such an intense and extraordinary time, I feel like I did not even scratch the surface of what Palestine truly “has to offer”. Therefore, I can truly say that it has been such a transformative experience for me and has definitely not been my last time in Palestine. "
