The Mediterranean Student Summit is organized by UNIMED – Mediterranean Universities Union and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), with support from the University of Palermo. This summit aims to unite Higher Education students from diverse backgrounds across the Mediterranean region to promote intercultural dialogue and collaborative solutions to common challenges.

Building on the success of the previous editions held in Barcelona (November 2022) and Tangier (September 2023), which gathered students from various countries, this third edition will bring together 30 to 35 students from UNIMED member universities. The event will provide a platform for students to enhance their international perspectives and engage in meaningful exchanges.

The 2024 summit will not only focus on physical mobility as a means of cultural exchange but will also emphasize the importance of fostering an international dimension locally. Students will have the opportunity to network with international peers, participate in virtual exchanges, and engage with national and international stakeholders through the activities organized by their universities.

This summit is an excellent chance for students to expand their horizons, develop intercultural competencies, and contribute to a global dialogue on higher education and student engagement. We encourage all eligible students to apply and take advantage of this unique opportunity.
