The workshop was conducted as part of a joint project between the Faculty of Economics and the Anti-Corruption Commission which aims to raise maximum awareness with regard to corruption throughout Palestine.

During the workshop, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences Dr. Sameh Atout, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the institutions in promoting integrity, and combating corruption. He noted that this kind of workshops plays an important role in building a society that has a broad and deep awareness of the fight against corruption.

Dr. Atout also pointed out that applying the standards of justice, along with good governance prevents cases of corruption, and violation to the law.

Two representatives from the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission participated in the event. The two guest speakers talked about the best practices to combat corruption in the most effective ways, and the importance of communicating integrity standards among all components of society through various means.
