During the workshop, Dr. Moayad Hattab, staff member at the Faculty of Law talked about the International Human Law foundations and its relation to media work. He also talked about international laws and declarations that enshrine human rights and their role in preserving human dignity.

The workshop was part of a series of workshops held by the organizers and funded by a Swedish-Norwegian support. There will also be other workshops that will tackle topics on obstacles facing journalism and media alumni, the reality of gender media and other as well as other events and activities.

It is worth mentioning that the Media Centre has recently established a training unit that aims to enrich students' experience and develop their skills in different fields.
