An-Najah Receives a Delegation from Gazi University and Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University in Turkey
Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah has recently received a delegation from Gazi University and Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University in Turkey.
The delegation visited the Palestinian Territories to express solidarity with the Palestinian people in the light of the recent political developments in the Jerusalem issue.
During the meeting, Prof. Natsheh briefed the delegation on An-Najah's recent academic programmes and the cooperation projects the University has with different international universities.
The delegation talked about the importance of the visit as it will initiate further academic and research cooperation between the Turkish and Palestinian universities regarding social science, economy and humanities with a focus on the Jerusalem issues.
The universities representatives also expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people who struggle to have an international recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine.
