Holding the Design Thinking Workshop
On Wednesday, July 26th, 2017, the Competency Development Unit at An-Najah in cooperation with Partners for Sustainable Development (PSD) held a training workshop on design thinking at the Faculty of Sciences conference room in the New Campus.
The workshop took place from July 26th – July 27th, 2017 and included 7 training hours.
The training aimed at developing students’ creative thinking skills and preparing them for job interviews.
The workshop included 15 students from An-Najah and shed light on design thinking as a methodology used by designers to solve complex problems, and find desirable solutions for clients.
It is worth mentioning that a design mindset is not problem-focused, it's solution focused and action oriented towards creating a preferred future.

- The workshop was given by the German trainer Masha Wondler and was attended by Mr. Kameel Khaledi from PSD and Ms Suheir Saleh, Coordinator of the Competency Development Unit at An-Najah.
