The delegation was headed by Prof. Anna Tozzi, Vice Rector of the International Relations at L'Aquila accompanied with Dr. Mamoun Al-Sagheer, Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Project at Palestine Polytechnic University.

Prof. Natsheh welcomed the delegation and thanked them for offering support to the Palestinian universities. He then briefed them on An-Najah’s programmes, faculties and scientific centres and stressed the importance of developing further cooperation with the EU.

Prof. Tozzi mentioned that L'Aquila University aims at promoting interaction with the Palestinian universities. She also discussed further means of mutual cooperation with An-Najah in terms of students and academics exchange.

The delegation also met with the University Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh to discuss the progress made on the joint projects between both L'Aquila and An-Najah.

Dr. Waleed Al-Kukhon, Dean of the Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology mentioned that L'Aquila offers the Credit Mobility project which allows the students and academics to do joint research in both universities. He added that L'Aquila also has a joint project with the College titled: The Code.
