The American Corner Nablus Holds a Community Iftaar
On Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016, the American Corner Nablus of the International Office at An-Najah organized a community Iftar with local orphans through the Ministry of Social Affairs as well as participants from their afterschool programme with the UNRWA Girls School in Balata Refugee Camp at the New Campus cafeteria.
Dr. Adnan Melhem, President's Assistant for Social Affairs started with opening remarks where he commended the corner's role in supporting the university through such activities.
The Iftaar included an array of different fun activities and games for children including face paint, children's stories, clown performances and other games and activities.
At the end, the children received school, sport, and art supplies.
