Apart from the influence and impact of education ondevelopment and the importance of the human element in this process, this course aims tolay out some of the impediments which stand in the way of development and thechallenges facing it; in addition, to the consequences of being politically andeconomically underdeveloped, and the absence of transparency and accountability, theexistence of administrative corruption and fragmentation, ignorance and backwardnessand poverty in the development process.
