Faculties' Councils

Each academic faculty at the University is overseen by an individual Faculty Council, which observes the various departments of that faculty, as well as the University's administrative units. The Council makes decisions within the limits of the authorities given to it, and makes recommendations through the Dean to the responsible parties in the University.

Each Faculty Council consists of the following:

• The Faculty Dean, who heads the council
• Assistant Dean or Vice Dean
• The head of each department in the faculty
• Two faculty representatives, who should be at least assistant professors. They shall be elected by the faculty staff annually.
