Prof. Maher Natsheh, President of An-Najah participated in the sessions of the fifty-third virtual round of the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, hosted by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University(PMU), Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday and Thursday, 7-8 April.

The conference aimed at strengthening the academic relations, developing higher education and supporting scientific research and cooperation among Arab universities.

Professor Natsheh expressed his pleasure in participating in the conference, and extended his thanks and gratitude to the Secretary General and the members of the Association of Arab Universities for selecting An-Najah as a member of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities.

The representatives discussed the association's events, projects and plans as well as many other topics related to university rankings, authentication of education documents, and PMU Research Award.

The event included speeches by Dr. Ahmed Abu Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Prince Mohammed bin Fahed bin Abdulaziz, Dr. Amr Azzat Salam, Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Universities, and Dr. Essa Al Ansari, President of the University of Prince Mohammed.
