An-Najah Excels in Research in Renewable Energy, Water and Sustainability Fields
A group of researchers from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at An-Najah National University published a book chapter and five research articles in international refereed journals during August and September 2021 in cooperation with a group of researchers from the German Jordanian University, Jordan University of Science and Technology, the University of Jordan, Birzeit University and the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates as well as international researchers from Spanish and French universities.
An-Najah's research team included: Dr. Adel Juaidi and Eng. Ramez Al-Khalidi from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, and Dr. Sameh Mona from the Department of Architecture, and Dr. Imad Braik from the Department of Electrical Engineering.
The first paper titled "Energy performance analytics and behavior prediction during unforeseen circumstances of retrofitted buildings in the arid climate" has been published in Energy Reports journal- Elsevier with an impact factor of 6.9.

A chapter titled" Solar cooling research and technology" has been published in a book published in Energy-Elsevier with an impact factor of 7.1 titled "Recent Advances in Renewable Energy Technologies".

The second paper titled " A Critical Review on Recycling Composite Waste Using Pyrolysis for Sustainable Development" has been published in Energies journal-MDPI with an impact factor of 3.0.

The third paper titled " Influence of the Advancement in the LED Lighting Technologies on the Optimum Windows-to-Wall Ratio of Jordanians Residential Buildings" has been published in Energies journal-MDPI with an impact factor of 3.0.
