An-Najah’s Scientific Research Unit Holds Series of Scientific Research Training Workshops for Faculty
An-Najah National University’s Scientific Research Unit at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Zaher Nazzal, Director of the Center, and coordination of Dr. Hala Qasrawi, held weekly scientific research training workshops via Zoom platform.
These training workshops aim to expands teaching staff’s skills and competencies in the field of scientific research to achieving higher productivity and the supply of highly skilled workers.
The workshops covered major topics in the field of scientific research, including developing strong research questions, developing a research thesis, writing research proposals, reviewing the literature, and critically evaluating already published papers, among many others.
Around 40 participants from the teaching staff took part in the workshops.
The workshops were given by Dr. Zaher Nazzal, Dr. Manal Badarsawi, and Dr. Basma Dmeiry.
As a supplementary activity for the workshop series, the Scientific Research Unit will hold periodic scientific seminars to discuss the topic of journal clubs.
