“How to Start” Training Course at An-Najah University

As part of An-Najah University's mission which is to facilitate students' transitions from University to workplace, the University's Competency Development Unit in collaboration with Injaz Palestine concluded a training course titled: "How to Start", which was held at An-Najah's Library in the New Campus over the period April 7-17, 2019. The training was organized for University students to prepare them for labour market.
The training aimed to prepare the University's students and graduates to compete in the job market and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge demanded by employers at the labour market. It was facilitated by Mr. Ahmed Al- Sayegh, CEO of Dar Al-Amara Company for Project Development.
It also focused on building and developing participants' real employability skills through bridging the gap between what students learned in college and the skills they need to succeed in their future careers.
Furthermore, the participants learned more about how to get a job after graduation (interview techniques, drees, what makes a good resume). In addition, they gained insight into how to operate once they have joined an organization.
The training covered several topics, including recruitment requirements and the importance of practical training in linking theoretical studies with practice.
