Hult Prize Group at An-Najah University concluded the Hult Prize On Campus Challenge; the world's biggest platform for social entrepreneurship that focuses on environmental impact and sustainable development goals (SDGs) on Sunday, Mar. 13, 2022.


The closing ceremony was attended by Prof. Abdel Nasser Zeid, An-Najah’s President, and Dr. Mona Demaidi, Director of the Business Innovation & Technology Hub (NGate) and Supervisor of the Hult Prize Group at the University. Additionally, Mr. Iyad Al-Aqra, Director of Student Affairs, and Mr. Khaled Al Husseini, Director of Public Relations (PR), Mr. Mohammed Sbeihat, Director-General of Higher Council Youth&S, Mr. Youssef Al Zoubi, Director-General of Youth&S in the northern governorates, Raghad Salahat, Coordinator of Hult Prize Group at the University, selection committee members, Mr. Ahmed Jarusheh from Witness Centre, the journalist Maisaa Shami from Al-Mahata, and and the participating teams as well as a large number of the University Students.

The closing ceremony included the announcement of the winning teams. Six teams of 25 were qualified to participate in the final stage of the competition.  The first place went to the “Baby Buit” project, which is is a platform that aims to connect parents who are looking for babysitting services at urgent times with professional nannies, the second place went to the “Ecobuilderz” project and the third place went to the “Tareqak” project.

Hult Prize On Campus gives students an opportunity to deliver social change by bringing Hult Prize programs at their universities. As part of the On Campus program, students will be able to train, educate and inspire others by building an impact community around On Campus events. The winning team will have a guaranteed spot at one of 25+ Regional Summits happening across the globe.

Founded by Ahmad Ashkar, the Hult Prize is one of the world’s most acclaimed entrepreneurship programs operating on more than 1500 university campuses in 121 countries and is a benchmark startup challenge for social entrepreneurship.
