"Be an Entrepreneur" Training Course
On Tuesday, February 12th 2019, An-Najah University's Career and Alumni Affairs Unit in collaboration with INJAZ Palestine organized a training course titled: "BE an Entrepreneur". Participants included 30 students from the University's different faculties.
The training course was facilitated by Ms. Rudina Zamil from the Bank of Palestine.
Mr. Rafe' Daraghmeh, Director of Alumni Unit noted that the training aims to develop the participants' personal and general business skills, which they need as much as specialist knowledge in the future to be entrepreneurs.
The training focused on equipping the participants with the right skills needed for the labour market. The training included an overview and discussion of how to identify and evaluate a project's idea, assess the market, leverage experiments to validate the idea and refine business strategies and develop business plans.
Ms. Zamil introduced the participants to the entrepreneurial journey, from finding an idea, to gaining traction in the marketplace, to raising capital for their project. Participants gained an understanding of how businesses are built and learned more about how entrepreneurs make crucial decisions to create value and grow their operations.
