Spotlight
The report is a summary of the monitoring process of violations of freedom of expression in the world. It includes what citizens using modern media and journalists working in media organizations encounter in the frame of the UN efforts to guarantee freedom of expression, freedom of the press and the public's right to know and access information.
The report will be launched in three countries, namely; the University of the Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan; Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda; and An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine. An-Najah was chosen as the leading university to launch the report in the Arab region based on the cooperation agreement with HiOA.
