An-Najah University signs an MOU with Palestinian Regular Bar Association
The President of An-Najah National University, Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, and the Palestinian Regular Bar Association, represented by the Bar President Lawyer Suhail Ashour, signed an MOU about research cooperation and expertise exchange both institutions in the different fields of law on Wednesday, September14, 2022.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Naeem Salameh, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University and Lawyer Saad Saleem, Vice President of the Palestinian Regular Bar Association.
The visit aimed at discussing possible areas of mutual cooperation between the two parties in order to develop academic relations and strengthen the partnership between them in terms of developing partnerships with institutions and donors locally and internationally.
Prof. Zaid welcomed the delegation and expressed his interest in developing more relations with the bar association. He further discussed means of academic cooperation with regards to establishing joint development projects in the fields of mutual interest between the two parties.
The agreement seeks to coordinate the efforts between the University and the Bar to effectively reinforce sustainable partnership in terms of providing joint seminars and workshops about topics of mutual interest including joint and collective action.
Both parties referred to the importance of strengthening the strategic and structured cooperation between them through various types of cooperation models. These models include training opportunities for law students to put theory into practice and achieve their full potential, both personally and professionally.
