Dr. Khaled Al-Sahli, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering welcomed the attendees and talked about the role of voluntary work in enriching students’ competencies.

Mr. Richard Buangan, Chief of Public Affairs at the U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem talked in details about the importance of voluntary work at the American Corner and its impact on the volunteers’ personalities. He also commended the corner for its hard work in the past years and its efforts in developing students’ skills.

The ceremony included a number of activities performed by the volunteers and a speech by student Lina Nawwas on her experience as a volunteer.

At the end of the ceremony, participating volunteers and a number of An-Najah academic and administrative staff were awarded certificates.
