The exhibition aimed at introducing the Vietnam’s traditions, culture and history to the students and shed light on Vietnamese agricultural and industrial life before and after the war. The event also aimed at reinforcing cultural exchange between An-Najah students and other international nations.


On Thursday, 26th November 2015 the International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah organized an exhibition on the Vietnamese heritage and history.

The exhibition aimed at introducing the Vietnam’s traditions, culture and history to the students and shed light on Vietnamese agricultural and industrial life before and after the war. The event also aimed at reinforcing cultural exchange between An-Najah students and other international nations.

The exhibition included 130 pictures which embodied Vietnam’s rural and urban life, customs, traditions and heritage and illustrated the struggle of the Vietnamese people during the war.

Student Mahmoud Mansour commented: “It was amazing how pictures incarnated a whole nation of Asia. They expressed small details of everyday life in Vietnam”.

Student Sahar Basim stated that she learned a lot about Vietnam, a country she never heard of before.
