There’s no doubt that my knowledge, skills and the network with people I’ve built during studying at An Najah National University, and especially in the industrial engineering department, have the most important role in creating my academic and my professional personality as well. During this period, I’m always eager to learn more about my major and its wide fields, and I always try to seize every opportunity comes to practice it in real life. Moreover, I try to make use of all the resources provided by our university, like taking additional courses, enrolling in student’s institutes and being always in touch with our teaching staff.

In the childhood we were often asked : what we would like to be in the future ? Most kids were answering Doctor , Astronaut, inventor … etc. and some were answering I want to be an Engineer. I was from the ones who said that they want to be Engineers . The years passed and we reached the high school, at that point I took my decision to study Industrial Engineering ; I had a friend who was an Industrial Engineering Alumni and he told me about it , I searched and read , I liked it and I took my decision , which was considered relatively early; as most students take such decisions very late ! After high school, I got a very high marks , which gave me the opportunity to be accepted at any programme in any university , but I stick to my decision which was taken with conviction and wisdom . An-Najah National University was my best choice through the list which I made as Its Engineering collage has good reputation and the only one which offers Industrial Engineering programme in Palestine

4 years ago, I chose industrial engineering as a field of study and I didn’t know that I would go throughone of the best experiences in my life. What makes the industrial engineering department a distinctive one is the integration between all of its parts; there are the doctors of the department, who came from different backgrounds and fields with various experiences, and who always advise us about our studies, future, self improvement and the local and international markets. There is also the curriculum whichincludes diverse courses that cover the engineering and management aspects. The nature of our study requires a personal effort,which develops our characteristics and enables us to speak smoothly in front of groups of people. During the past 4 years, my knowledge hasn’t been limited to the scientific side only, but it has alsoextended to the practical side
