- GF: studio no.220050: Ceramic main studio, contains tables for forming with clay, and 6 electric wheels, and 3 kilns with different sizes, and spray machine.
- 1st floor: Studios no.221030, 221020, 221040: Interior Design studios that serves the ceramics program.
- 1st floor:( 221270 ), Academic Drawing studio, provided with drawing stands and still life elements.
- 1st floor: (221260), 2 dimensional studio.
- 2nd floor: (222150, 222080, 222140), Painting studios, provided with drawing stands and elements for painting.
- (223340, 220071, 222090), Teaching rooms provided with LCD projectors, for theoretical courses.
- The Gallery, where best student's works are exhibited.
Industry
Through the course of field training of our graduates, students can identify the needs of the community and the local market and interact with institutions and companies, as well as through the preparation and organization of exhibitions and workshops with the participation of local community organizations. Ceramic students can initiate their own ceramic studios where they can make sculptural murals.Graduates could become Art teachersat schools.
Teaching and Learning
- Focusing on the theoretical courses of art history and aesthetics of Islamic history of Ceramics and Pottery and modern theories in the field of art criticism.
- Strengthening the theoretical side through the practical skills needed in different branches of the visual arts ranging from drawing and composition of Ceramic art works,forming by electric wheel, firing and glazing within various advanced techniques and methods.
- Hosting potters and Ceramic artists in order to explain their experience to students and exchange views with them to reach more comprehensive understanding of the latest methods and techniques related to Ceramic Art.
Coursework and Assessment
- Evaluating theoretical courses within the course objectives and outputs, according to the laws of the university.
- Evaluating the practical courses by an internal committee.
- Evaluatingthe graduation project by an internal and external committee, and review its recommendations for development.
