The Master's Degree in Film and Television at An-Najah National University is considered the first of its kind in Palestinian universities, as it provides the opportunity for media graduates to complete postgraduate studies, and for those working in film and television production, the opportunity to combine a range of cognitive and technical skills in the specialization.
The master gives the student the academic and practical experience necessary to make an impact in the film and television industry by integrating into the visual media labor market, and opens doors for him to work in local, Arab and international television and satellite channels operating in Palestine or abroad.
The master's message is embodied in qualifying creative cadres of professionals in the fields of film and television in harmony with the values and aspirations of Palestinian society, thus forming a basis for the development of the Palestinian film industry; as well as providing our universities in the future with academic cadres specialized in the fields of film and television through the necessary mental and cognitive skills.
The program looks at developing research centers in Palestine in the fields of cinema and television, to create a solid base of scientific data necessary to enable government institutions and politicians to make sound decisions based on scientific facts.
The program aspires to provide local, Arab and international media organizations with specialized and qualified media cadres in the field of film and television media work, who are able at the same time to confront the propaganda against the Palestinian cause.
