There are 4 computer labs equipped with up to dated computers and software programs needed for statistical and financial analysis:

  • Research Methodologies and its statistical analysis
  • Advanced Operations Research
  • Advanced Production Management
  • Management and Accounting Information Systems
 

Industry

An-Najah National University especially MBA program is connected strongly with private and industrial sector, the program administration works hard to make long term and continuous relationships with the industry through signing MOUs and Agreements.
There are several MOUs between AN-Najah and leaders of the industry aiming at exchanging expertise and providing internship and case studies about the management practices.
The program invites industry leaders and executives to have open discussions with the students to give students self-confidence and criticize the practices of the industry, bridging the gap between theories and practices.

 

Teaching and Learning

methods used in teaching and learning depends on achieving the intended learning objectives of the courses, these methods can be summarized as follows:

  • Encouraging critical thinking and brain storming for students.
  • Encouraging discussions among students and between students and the professors, and providing modern educational resources.
  • Encouraging working within teams and groups to encourage them to solve the managerial problems and case studies.
  • Research projects to enable students to do scientific research.
  • Case studies related to practical managerial practices and issues.
  • In addition to traditional lecturing.
  • Participation in workshops and specialized conferences
 

Coursework and Assessment

Assessment criteria and methods depend the nature of the course material, but can be some the following or all of them:

  • Written exams
  • Practical exams for the courses needed software programs.
  • Oral exams and presentations.
  • Research and proposals discussed through the semester within the course.
  • Case studies from the actual practices of business industry.
  • Seminars and participation.
