A Delegation from An-Najah University Explores Opportunities for Cooperation with Abu Dhabi University
On Monday, March 13, 2023, a delegation from An-Najah National University visited Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates to explore opportunities for cooperation and joint communication between the two prestigious universities.
Led by Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Khayyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, the delegation included Eng. Ghazi Murtaja, Director of the Media Center, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, and Mr. Ammar Al-Kurdi, President of the Emirati-Palestinian Friendship Club.
During the meeting, Dr. Hamad Odhabi, Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Abu Dhabi University, praised the achievements of An-Najah National University at all levels and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with other Arab universities. Dr. Al-Khayyat, in turn, spoke about the outstanding achievements of An-Najah National University, its leadership in many international and Arab rankings of universities, and its dedication to providing a suitable scientific environment for its students.
The two parties discussed various prospects for academic cooperation, including the exchange of experiences, joint research projects on topics of mutual interest, and cultural exchange programs for students and staff.
After the productive meeting, the An-Najah National University delegation was given a tour of Abu Dhabi University's campus, where they were able to explore its state-of-the-art facilities and faculties. Abu Dhabi University has two campuses in Dubai and Al Ain, and its diverse student body includes international students who make up 38% of the total number of students enrolled in its programs.
This visit marks an important milestone in strengthening ties between An-Najah National University and Abu Dhabi University, and both parties are committed to building a long-term partnership that benefits their respective academic communities.
