Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology Joins EVBB
Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology of An-Najah National University, recently joined the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) which is the European umbrella association of free and non-profit educational providers.
The objective of EVBB is the qualitative improvement of vocational education and training in Europe and beyond and to increase the efforts designed to promote VET as a first choice. EVBB has more than 67 members coming both from the private and the public sector and covers all fields related to initial, advanced and further education and training.
Dr. Amer Massad, Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, announced that Hisham Hijjawi College joined the EVBB, which makes lllHijjawi College the only Palestinian college to join the EVBB.
Dr. Massad talked about the benefits of joining the EVBB stressing on its role in the qualitative development and improvement of vocational and technical education and training in the Euro-Mediterranean region. He also talked about the EVBB’s role in providing platforms for research, scholarship and exchange programs in vocational training as well as developing project proposals for the development of vocational education and training programs.
