Strategic Planning for Renewable Energy in Developing Countries: Palestine as a Case Study
Prof. Sameer Abu-Eisheh and Eng. Abdelnaser Dwaikat from An-Najah University presented a scientific paper titled: “Strategic Planning for Renewable Energy in Developing Countries: Palestine as a Case Study” in the 5th International Conference on Renewable Energy for Developing Countries, which took place in Marrakesh, Morocco, on the 29th and the 30th of June 2020.
The aim of the research is to explore the proper measures to deal with the identified key factors that affect progress towards renewable energy, and formulate a strategic framework to support shifting towards renewable energy in the developing countries. Palestine is taken as the case study that could be considered as an example of a lower-middle income developing country. The paper will be published in the conference's volume issued by IEEE.
