Dr. Nidal Dwaikat Participates in UNIMED 2019 General Assembly
Dr. Nidal Dwaikat, Deputy President of Development Planning and Quality Assurance at An-Najah University, participated in UNIMED 2019 General Assembly which was held in Rome at the Link Campus University.
The Assembly aimed at gathering rectors, presidents and representatives to exchange views and determine policy for UNIMED, setting the stage for a full and rich year of initiatives activities and conferences that shape the academic calendar around the Mediterranean.
It is also an opportunity to host and network with representatives of international organizations, government officials, students, influential contributors to the cultural and political spheres, and representatives of NGOs.
The Assembly's workshops mainly focused on new learning technologies, digitization of education, academic exchange, student mobility, scientific research and entrepreneurship and quality management. The workshops also discussed the EuroMed collaboration, UNIMED activities and future plans and the role of universities to achieve sustainable development.
UNIMED, the Mediterranean Universities Union founded in October 1991 by Prof. Franco Rizzi, ,is an association of Universities from the countries of the Mediterranean basin .It counts 124 Universities coming from 23 countries of both shores of Mediterranean.
