Workshop on E-Learning and its Role in Promoting Global Experiences at An-Najah University
An-Najah's Competency Development Unit, in collaboration with MENA Alliances, organized a workshop on e-learning and its role in promoting success stories and global experiences.
The workshop was organized for An-Najah's academic and administrative staff to develop their professional skills. It covered several topics, most important of which are the definition of e-learning, e-learning’s rapid growth, benefits of e-learning, barriers to effective use of e-learning, and the international use of e-learning by reviewing success stories about it at the national level.
The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Christine Hobbi, an adjunct professor for Maricopa Community Colleges in Phoenix, Arizona, and the founder of Service Alliances, a corporate training organization that specializes in “core skills” training and curriculum development/delivery in the U.S. and abroad.
The workshop was concluded with discussions about the use of e-learning in the University and courses offered by An-Najah's E-Learning Center.
