An-Najah Professor Participates in the CONFREMO General Assembly in Lebanon
On Monday, October 23rd, 2017, and on behalf of Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah, Dr. Wasim Bishawi, Head of the French Language Department participated in the Conference of Rectors in the Middle East (CONFREMO).
The conference was over three days from October 23rd – October 25th, 2017 and took place at the Arts, Sciences and Technology University (AUL) in Beirut, Lebanon.
The conference aimed at reinforcing free debates in universities' administrations in the Middle East and discussing the strategic plans of the CONFREMO conference. It also aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship business at the universities to reduce the unemployment rate among the alumni.
The meeting was concluded by electing the new administrative council of the CONFREMO, which will be chaired during the next two years by Dr. Dina El-Maoula, President of the Islamic University of Lebanon.

- The conference was also attended by a number of Egyptian, Lebanese, Sudan, Palestinian, Jordanian, Iranian and Syrian universities.
