An-Najah Delegation Visits the University of Bordeaux in France
On Thursday, July 6th, 2017, a delegation from An-Najah’s architectural engineering and building engineering departments visited the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Bordeaux in France.
The visit was over a week from July 6th – July 13th, 2017 and was part of a joint project between An-Najah and the University of Bordeaux.
The delegation included Dr. Sameh Mena from the Architectural Engineering Department and Drs Mutasim Baba and Muhannad Haj Hussein from the Building Engineering Department at An-Najah who met with their project counterparts at the University of Bordeaux.
Dr. Mena, the Project Coordinator said that the visit aims at studying the progress made on the joint project which aims at enhancing the energy and internal environment efficiency in residential buildings in Palestine. He also stressed the importance of the cooperation between the universities.
Dr. Baba mentioned that An-Najah team was introduced to the techniques that make buildings more energy efficient in France. He added that delegation exchanged information and ideas regarding the joint project of the Solar Decathlon 2018 International Competition.
