Carbon Emissions Reporting
As we advance along our Pathway to Net Zero 2028, An-Najah National University has conducted a comprehensive assessment of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in full accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
The assessment encompasses Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, forming a complete representation of the university’s carbon footprint. By achieving 100% renewable electricity and zero Scope 2 emissions in 2024, the university has already reached a major milestone toward decarbonization.
This progress aligns with our broader aspiration to fully eliminate direct and indirect emissions by 2028, positioning An-Najah National University as a regional leader in climate action and sustainable development.
