Consultancy Services- Financial Auditor

Introduction
An-Najah National University (ANNU) has received a grant from ECACA for a project entitled: Improving Governance Practices at Palestinian Higher Education Institutions/ UniGov. This project seeks to support the modernization, accessibility, and internationalization of HEIs in Palestine, through addressing five cross-cutting aspects of governance.
The project seeks to target two main groups, direct and indirect beneficiaries. Direct groups are administrative staff, while indirect groups are faculty members, students, stakeholders, and policymakers. These two groups will play a leading role in the implementation of various project activities.
Assignment Objective:
An- Najah National University is considering the selection of a qualified Financial Auditor service provider .
Scope of work and tasks of service provider :
- Review and audit financial claims and invoices submitted by project consortium
- Prepare financial reports according to EACEA Format, rules and procedures.
Essential Required Qualifications:
An- Najah National University/Project Management Unit invites eligible qualified Financial Auditors/ Service Providers to provide information indicating their qualifications, experience and appropriate skills to perform the services.
The Financial Auditor/ Service Provider should have a proven knowledge and skills in accounting procedures, generally accepted accounting practices and financial reporting. In addition the Financial Auditors/ Service Providers should have at least 3 years of experience working in a similar position, preferable in the public sector.
Contract Type: Lump Sum Contract.
Duration: work time is two years: (2017) and (2019).
Interested Financial Auditors/ Service Providers must submit their competencies and experience records to the following email: [email protected] by 2:00 pm, Sunday, 7-1-2018. The assignment is expected to start on Wednesday, 28-1-2018.
