An-Najah University Student Delegation Shines in the Environmental Public Speaking Competition in Dubai

A student delegation from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at An-Najah National University participated in the 24th Environmental Public Speaking Competition, organized by the Emirates Environmental Group in Dubai from November 25-28, 2024.
The delegation, consisting of Heba Masri, Tamara Abu Aisheh, May Hamarshi, Raghad Alhasan, and Helena Khalaf, represented the University under the guidance of Dr, Abdelhaleem Khader. They presented creative ideas and sustainable solutions to address global environmental challenges, emphasizing the importance of sustainability for a better future.
Their performance highlighted their creativity and ability to effectively convey ideas, demonstrating the strength of Palestinian youth in innovation. Dr. Muhannad Haj Hussein, Dean of the Faculty, and Mohammed Al-Daqqa, Dean of Student Affairs, praised the students’ achievements and the university’s commitment to supporting students’ participation in international events.
The competition aims to strengthen youth capabilities in environmental sustainability and raise global awareness on environmental issues. The University participates annually, aligning with its commitment to sustainable development goals, quality education, and climate action.
