Renewal of ABET Accreditation for An-Najah's Nine Engineering Programs
As An-Najah National University’s top administration is concerned about developing its academic education and maintaining high reputation in the local and international region, the University has got renewal of the ABET accreditation for the nine engineering programs. The programs are Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Building Engineering. The University got the renewal after the ABET evaluation accreditation commission evaluated the educational outcomes and facilities for the ABET accreditation for the nine programs remotely in 2019.
The Accreditation offers a better-educated, geographically mobile, diverse technical workforce well-prepared to advance innovation and excel professionally in fields of critical importance to society.
The Accreditation's eight General Criteria are: Students, Program Educational Objectives, Student Outcomes, Continuous Improvement, Curriculum, Faculty, Facilities, and Institutional Support.
