The University opened its doors to 22 thousand students from different faculties at its campuses which includes the New Campus, the Old Campus, the Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology and the Khadouri Campus.

The semester started with launching a number of new Masters and PhD programmes such as the Fiqh and Its Fundamentals which is a joint PhD programme between An-Najah, Al-Quds University and Hebron University.

An-Najah also obtained the Ministry of Education and Higher Education accreditation for the Public Health Management Master's programme. The programme was established in cooperation with a number of European universities in the U.K, Belgium and Spain. The participating universities will offer training for the students through the EU Erasmus+ programme.

In addition, the University started offering the Computer Science in the Labour Market BSc programme and has recently signed an MOU with the Arab American University of Jenin to offer a joint Master's programme in Public Relations. The agreement will result in the accreditation of the joint programme by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Palestine.

Therefore, An-Najah currently offers 89 bachelors programmes and 61 graduate programmes including three PhD programmes in Physics, Chemistry and Fiqh and Its Fundamentals.

On the international level, An-Najah was ranked 45^th in the Arab world, according to the QS World University Rankings. The University improved its ranking by 16 positions since 2016 rankings.

On this occasion, Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah commended the prominent progress of An-Najah's achievements on the national and international levels.

He added that the University pays great attention to the entrepreneurship project which encourages the students to establish their own startups with the support of a number of Palestinian and international organizations.
