The competition aims at employing what students learn in theory and applying it practically with wooden bridge models. In addition to that, the organizer of the event, ASCE, aims at shaping students’ character and developing their practical skills.

Participating teams will design 3D bridges that match the competition standards with regard to dimensions and materials. Each team should take into consideration the fundamentals of engineering and transform their drawings into wooden models that will be evaluated later.

The competition targets engineering students from all Palestinian universities and will include professors and lecturers from engineering departments and representatives of each university’s administration and deanship as well as representatives from the Engineers Syndicate.
