An-Najah University hands over the Ministry of Health an Advanced Medical Device Used to Diagnose COVID-19
An advanced medical device used to diagnose COVID-19 was handed over to the Palestinian Ministry of Health by An-Najah National University on Wednesday, March11, 2020 to facilitate the diagnosis of the COVID-19 virus and to reduce pressure on the country’s health system.
The University is working to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 Outbreak and the vast and growing number of challenges that this pandemic is creating on society with a rapid response through crucial research and innovation, local and global collaborations and practical support for the community.
The device was handed over to the MOH during a press conference held by the University in the presence of Annan Al-Atira, Deputy Governor of Nablus Governorate, Dr. Ramiz Dweikat, Director of Nablus Health Directorate, and Dr. Maen Ishtaiwi, Dean of the Faculty of science at the An-Najah as well as a number of the University's academic and administrative staff.
