Delegation from Hanan Foundation and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) Visits An-Najah National University
The Faculty of Medicine and Human Sciences at An-Najah National University welcomed a delegation from the Hanan Foundation and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), including Dr. Khaled Dawas, Ms. Naila Handoosh, Dr. Anas Ashqar, and Ms. Rehab El-Hamaki. The delegation was received by Dr. Faris Abu Shamma, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Shadi khelfa, Director of the Medical Department; Dr. Hasan Fitian, Director of the Virtual Education and Clinical Skills Lab; and Dr. Rasha Khayyat, Chair of the Faculty’s Public Relations Committee.
The visit focused on enhancing academic and training cooperation, including plans to support the establishment of a rehabilitation institute, expand clinical training for students in prestigious hospitals, initiate student exchange programs with British institutions, offer training scholarships for graduates, and reactivate funding for research and teaching assistant positions.
The visit concluded with a tour of the anatomy and virtual reality labs, where both sides emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to advance education, training, and healthcare, reinforcing An-Najah’s role as a leader in medical excellence both locally and internationally.
