Institutions and Organizations in Nablus Condemn the Occupation's Raid on An-Najah National University’s Old Campus
Institutions and organizations in Nablus have condemned the raid conducted by occupation forces on the old campus of An-Najah National University. Delegations visiting the university included the Governor of Nablus, Mr. Ghassan Daghlas; members of the Factional Coordination Committee; Eng. Sami Hajawi, the Mayor of Nablus, accompanied by members of the municipal council; Eng. Iyad Khalaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Northern Electricity, along with the company’s General Director, Eng. Asaad Swalmeh; Sheikh Nasser Salman, Director-General of the Nablus Directorate of Religious Endowments, along with his accompanying delegation; and Mr. Jihad Ramadan, Chairman of the Popular Resistance Committee in the Mobilization and Organization Commission.
The presence of these delegations represents a strong condemnation of the incursion and a show of solidarity with the university, emphasizing the significance of An-Najah University within the local community and its symbolic importance as an educational and cultural institution in Palestinian society.
