An-Najah National University has officially inaugurated the introductory day for the second session of the "Professional Diploma to Qualify Kindergarten Teachers" Program as part of the "Improving Early Childhood Development" (ECD) Project. The program is a collaborative effort between An-Najah National University, the Ministry of Education, the World Bank, and five other Palestinian universities.


Dr. Saida Affouna, An-Najah's President's Assistant for Digitization and E-Learning and the Project Manager, extended a warm welcome to kindergarten teachers, trainers, and the University's training team. During the event, she highlighted the challenges confronting the early childhood sector in Palestine and underscored the achievements and objectives of the specialized professional diploma program. The program is designed to empower educators, enabling them to better understand children and their unique needs.

Prof. Saed Al-Khayyat, Director of Scientific Centers and International Projects, conveyed the University administration's greetings to the participants in the early childhood project. He emphasized the University's commitment to forging partnerships with various institutions to contribute to the development of Palestinian society. This includes the provision of well-qualified staff to deliver high-quality education to diverse age groups, with a particular focus on children.

Dr. Suhail Salha, Project Coordinator from the University, provided an overview of the specialized professional diploma in kindergarten. He delved into the program's curriculum, including its units and sessions, training methodologies, and guidelines designed to help participants achieve their educational goals. Dr. Salha also introduced the training team responsible for delivering the program.

In addition to the above, the E-Learning Center conducted training sessions, introducing teachers to the Moodle system. These sessions focused on creating personal files and establishing mechanisms for submitting assignments, all while providing access to valuable educational resources.
