An-Najah and MA'AN Development Center Sign an MOU to Support Student Graduation Projects
As part of the “Nahdat Shabab” project implemented by MA'AN Development Center and funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GIZ, An-Najah National University, represented by Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of the University, signed an agreement with MA'AN Development Center represented by Ms. Luna Saadeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The agreement aims at supporting and financing pioneering student graduation projects and research.
The “Nahdat Shabab” project aims at supporting economic empowerment and promoting economic engagement of young Palestinians into the agricultural sector through establishing income-generating projects. The project seeks to achieve its goals through offering the target groups capacity development and entrepreneurship skills programs and introducing them to modern agricultural technology.
Under this agreement, three students from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at An-Najah University who are expected to graduate from the University during the academic year 2021-2022 will obtain fund for their graduation projects.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mona Demaidi, Director of the Business Innovation & Technology Hub (NGate), Dr. Mahmoud Dwikat, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University and a number of MA'AN Development Center’s general managers and project coordinators.
