An-Najah University and the Ministry of Telecommunications & Information Technology sign an MOU
On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, An-Najah National University, represented by Prof. Abdel Nasser Zeid, President of the University, signed an agreement about research cooperation and expertise exchange in the fields of Information and communications technology and human skills development with the Ministry of Telecommunications & Information Technology, represented by H.E Dr. Ishaq Sider, Minister of Telecom & IT in Palestine.
This partnership will provide opportunities for joint research, and development projects between the two parties in the fields of geomatics, digital marketing, radio and television and other related fields such as computer engineering, networks and information technology.
Furthermore, the agreement seeks to coordinate the efforts between the two parties to effectively reinforce sustainable partnership between them in terms of conducting joint research studies and projects, organizing and implementing conferences, workshops, activities and initiatives in the field of communications and information technology and other topics of mutual interest.
As part of the MOU, the two parties have agreed on the use of the Government Innovation Lab to support the University’s entrepreneurs, including academic staff and students at the Bachelor's and Master's levels, and embracing innovation in the government sector.
