The donation of medical equipment will bolster the hospital’s medical response capacity and will help double the hospital's patient care. This initiative was part of the activities undertaken by the University for its community and social responsibility initiatives.

The idea of donating the equipment was a result of the students' training at the hospital. During that period, the students felt the urgent necessity of the patients to the equipment for their treatment.

The University plays a very vital role in encourage social responsibility in its students. For example, it encourages philanthropy amongst the student body, including volunteering, student-led charity fundraisers, and community projects.

Mr. Raed Debiy, President's Assistant for Community Affairs said: "An-Najah University is honored to support the very important work being done by Al-Amal Rehabilitation Hospital. We have a wonderful partnership with the hospital, and we send our very best wishes to all the frontliners who work so hard to protect the health and safety of our community."
