An-Najah Signs an MOU with ACT Conflict Resolution Institution

On Thursday 6 June, 2021, An-Najah National University, represented by Dr. Naeem Salameh, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University, signed a memorandum of understanding with ACT Conflict Resolution Institution, represented by Lawyer Mohamed Hadia, Executive Director of ACT, in the presence of Mr. Khaled Al-Husseini, Director of the Public Relations Department. The signing ceremony took place at the University's Faculty of Law.

The MOU aims at reinforcing partnership with ACT Conflict Resolution Institution in terms of enhancing the role of arbitration and mediation as an alternative dispute resolution (Commercial & Civil Disputes).
It focuses on the cooperation and exchange of research in the field of arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution, and has formalized a growing partnership between the two institutions.
Through the MoU, ACT will be providing accredited training courses for the University's law students with the aim of advancing their professional skills for a successful law career.
Both parties referred to the importance of strengthening the strategic and structured cooperation between them through various types of cooperation models. These models include training opportunities for law students to put theory into practice and achieve their full potential, both personally and professionally.
