The film is a documentary based oral history of Jaffa before the 1948 ‎Nakba. Most of the film's guests were born and lived in Jaffa before the ‎Nakba and are now living in the diaspora. They share and intersect ‎their living stories and memories to cover the most important aspects ‎of life in Jaffa before the Nakba.‎

Moreover, the film strives to visually rebuild this vibrant pre-Nakba ‎city. The final part of the film explains their fate, their homes and ‎their bitter decisions to leave the city because of the massacres. ‎

The Palestinian director talked about the film's theme and its ‎importance. He also reviewed the technical elements and aspects of ‎the film.‎

It is worth mentioning that the preparation and production of a ‎documentary film is a prerequisite for the Radio and Television ‎Department's students.‎
