An-Najah's Delegation Visit to SESAME

An-Najah's Physics Department recently concluded a scientific visit to the Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East (SESAME) in Jordan. The visit aimed to seek possible means of cooperation between An-Najah University and SESAME. It also aimed to share opinions, thoughts and observations on joint research cooperation projects.
The visit included tours of the accelerator and SESAME's labs to learn about the different techniques in physics, biology, chemistry and Materials Science.
The delegation included Dr. Hadil Abualrob, member of the Palestine national committee for SESAME and Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Muna Hajj Yahya from the Physics Department and Dr. Ghadeer Omar, Head of the Biology Department as well as Dr. Raed Koni, Dr. Samer Abdallah and Ms. Lubna Yadak from the Biology Department. In addition, it included Dr. Mohyeddin Assali from the Pharmacy Department, Dr. Ihab Alsurakji, Dr. Saed Abdelfattah and Dr. Hamdallah Bearat from the Faculty of Engineering and IT.
The visit is part of the Physics Department philosophy to encourage scientific research through mutual cooperation among the University departments.
