The event focused on celebrating the achievements of the graduates from ‎the Urban Planning Engineering department, specifically, the graduates ‎that currently ‎work in institutions inside or outside Palestine. The ‎graduates were also able to share their ‎experience in the labor market. ‎

The event also discussed means to  increase professional and public ‎interest in planning.  ‎In addition‎,‎‏ ‏Many special guests ‎from government, ‎academia and related professions and specializations, ‎along with students ‎and new emerging professionals in planning‏ were invited to speak‎. ‎

Also,The event included an exhibition where many topics were ‎‎‎introduced to the visitors. Also, the Department of Urban Planning's ‎‎students and graduates showcased several projects on urban planning. ‎

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Ali Abdelhamid, Dean of the ‎‎‎Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Emad Dawwas, ‎‎Head of Urban Planning Engineering department, and Mr. Eyad Al-Aqra, ‎‎Director of Students' ‎Affairs at the University. ‎

The Department of Urban Planning also organized an informative lecture ‎‎on urban planning to showcase presentations on important planning ‎‎issues and innovations, and introduce the University students to the urban ‎‎planning profession. ‎

The activities included two introductory lectures on the joint project ‎‎between the Urban Planning Engineering Department at An-Najah and ‎‎the university of lille, France. ‎

The lectures included speeches by urban planning students dispatched to ‎‎French universities. The students talked about their experience at the ‎‎University of Lille, and discussed the challenges they faced during their ‎‎visit. ‎
